C-MAIL Launches "Smart” Email Productivity Solution Designed To Help Business and Government Users Solve the Email Overload Problem and Speed Decision Making
Offered as SaaS or On-Premises Solution, C-MAIL Automatically Prioritizes Messages and Provides Powerful Reporting, Workflow, and Social Network Mapping Tools
October 27, 2008 – NEW YORK CITY – C-MAIL™ Corporation (www.myc-mail.com), a provider of enterprise email productivity software, today announced the launch of its flagship solution, C-MAIL™, on-demand. Offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or on-premise solution installed behind the corporate firewall, C-MAIL is ideal for busy professionals and organizations of any type – from large enterprises to SMBs to government agencies. C-MAIL Corp. is a unit of Business Instruments Corp., New York (www.business-instruments.com).
C-MAIL is a user-friendly, intelligent SaaS add-in to Microsoft Outlook™ that automatically and dynamically prioritizes email messages. C-MAIL’s patent-pending algorithms work in the background taking into account users’ clicking behavior, past email history, configurable company business rules, and various other optional user input. This dynamic prioritization and “smart” learning results in superior accuracy of email prioritization – and relieves the burden of endlessly sifting through email, thus saving precious time and enabling faster decision-making on important email. Easy to learn and quick to set-up, C-MAIL functions without modifying Outlook’s email rules, folders, or archiving policies.
“Most email overload solutions available today rely on static rules-based technology and are limited to individual PC software that cannot effectively keep up with or adapt to the speed of business,” said Manish Sood, CEO of C-MAIL Corp. “We developed C-MAIL’s globally scalable solution specifically targeting the email productivity & reporting needs of corporate users. C-MAIL applies a fundamentally different technology consisting of dynamic prioritization of email, intuitive learning capabilities from individuals and groups, single-click workflow, meaningful email analytics, security and privacy controls, and enterprise-grade reporting. The benefits of using the service speak to the strong value proposition.”
C-MAIL’s patent-pending technology automatically analyzes individual and company email data to map organizational social networks, providing end-users and managers alike with a better sense of communication bottlenecks, productivity benchmarks, and key performance metrics. With C-MAIL, users can gain immediate efficiencies from the start. By analyzing the solution’s robust real-time metrics and intuitive reporting, users can improve overall productivity, speed of decision-making, customer service, group collaboration, knowledge management, and efficient email data archiving.
“For many workers, the inbox becomes a cluttered and very unfocused to-do list resulting in excess time spent either determining which emails are high priority or constantly searching for actionable emails – which in turn becomes a very inefficient way to do business,” said Sood. “Recent studies have shown that one minute of interruption can cost 15 minutes of lost productivity. With nearly half of your workday spent reviewing and managing email, the majority of which are non-urgent, businesses in today’s economy need a ‘smart’ productivity solution that ensures that the workforce is clearly focused on business priorities – C-MAIL is that very solution.”

Press Release - June 5, 2007 |
NEW YORK, NY - June 2007. Business Instruments Corp. has successfully completed the first phase of beta testing a break-through intelligent email productivity technology named C-MAIL.
C-MAIL will reportedly help conserve anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes of time per day for each of the heaviest email users, particularly corporate and government personnel who typically receive 50+ emails per day.
This technology seeks to increase productivity in the workplace and office environment. Its primary market segments will include mid to senior level managers, government and military personnel, and other knowledge-based workers.
Business Instruments Corp. (BI) is a New York based company which has successfully held its niche in providing end-to-end IT consulting and solution services. Its offerings range from infrastructure solutions, security & risk management, and systems integration to software development.
The company has already filed three patents to secure its competitive advantage over the long term. "We are aware of the breakthrough potential, we envision C-MAIL to ‘complement’ and not ‘compete’ with current email products. By having a well laid out IP strategy, along with monitoring market and technology risks, we should be in a good position to launch our product in early 2008," says Manish Sood, Vice President - Corporate.
The company reports that its competitive advantage will be assured by being first in the market, ensuring the protection of all IP, and incorporating proper Beta testing and involvement of the customer throughout the development process. “In today’s world, the latest technology is no more a synonym of success. The market is mature enough to be careful in its choices and it expects the product to be more efficient and adapted to the needs. Our team is leveraging some of the latest business analysis and quality assurance techniques in the development of C-MAIL. We are excited to be working on the forefront of technology” says Steve Ruan, Chief Architect for C-MAIL.
Based on the limited market assessment to date, C-MAIL has attracted a promising commercial potential amongst targeted customers. “Having a pre-sales model in place with potential customers ready to purchase the product at its launch helps provide C-MAIL with an already established market share”, states Robert Grieser, EVP of Business Development.
Business Instruments Corp. had been nominated by youngStartup Ventures as one of the Top 40 Emerging Innovative Technology Companies on the East Coast, and had been invited to showcase its technology solutions at the NY Venture Summit in Madison Square Garden.
C-MAIL has generated an active interest from technology companies, channel partners and the investment community. For any investment, alliance or media inquiries, please contact us at corporate@business-instruments.com
